Meet the Owner: Don Ober of Trenton, New Jersey
Don Ober of Don's Piano, Inc.
in Trenton, New Jersey
began playing piano
at a very young age and continues to entertain people today, playing Jazz in local venues. Early on in his studies he found himself dissatisfied with his piano tuner and began to think about learning the trade himself.
He later went to school in Philadelphia to learn the tuning trade from Merle Jackson. Following his graduation from the tuning course, he began an apprenticeship program with Wesley Beaumont where he worked for nearly 7 years.
In the early 1980's, Don opened a workshop in order to do his own rebuilding, and incorporated the business under Dons Piano Inc.
Today Don provides rebuilding services locally and nationally. He has rebuilt pianos for as far away as Virginia and Connecticut and is always willing to take on a new challenge. His business provides tuning services for many local churches and institutions. He is always available to discuss any of your piano needs with you.

Client Reviews
"My only complaint with Don is how punctual he is. I am not used to this from service people, so I have been caught off guard at times when he shows up precisely on time and I am running late. You can practically set your clock by him. What a pleasant change from the usual." - Patricia J.
